Who told you that you need to be over 50 (fifty years old) to recieve a seniors card?
If your husband / wife is over fifty and you haven’t got there yet, you are still eligible to get a seniors card through your older spouse
We have friends that don’t leave home without their seniors card. they flash it everywhere
