The English language can create some interesting ideas: what does “Break Through The Day” mean?
Is it an instruction to take a break during the day? Or are we talking about going past a barrier and reaching a target, thereby achieving a break-through?
Reading the instructions on some garden fertiliser:
“Wear gloves and wash hands after gardening”
Wouldn’t the gloves get wet when you’re washing your hands?
And shouldn’t you be wearing the gloves during, and not after gardening?
It’s like the sports commentator who said :” …. and now we’re going to watch the pole vaulting over the satelite”
Now THAT would be worth watching! Wonder if the athletes would need breathing aparatus whilst they’re in space jumping over satelites.
Today there was an Archimedes moment in the shower – Eureka !! But without the running down the street naked!
Do you ever have an epiphany whilst in the shower?
That’s why today was a break through day
